In the present days there are all kinds of ways to advertise a new album, but Lana del Rey has innovated revealing a group of fans of her the release date of her new album, the long awaited sequel after her successful debut Born to Die in 2012. The new album will be released on May 1.

The surprising truth is that Lana del Rey provides this information to a group of fans that stopped her on the road in an unspecified location in the United States as if no one else were waiting for it, when in fact half of the planet is waiting for details on the contents of Ultraviolence, the title announced by the artist herself in Hollywood at the premiere of her short film Tropico last December.

Definitely determined to take advantage of their moment with the diva, the fans also asked her something more about this new album, to which she replies that she considers it is so good that it makes her forget the previous one, and that she feels in love with it.

Nevertheless, critics are not happy with her album Born to Die, saying that the contents of the songs are shallow and vacuum. They say that she brought a lot of promise to the music scene but at the end she didn’t deliver.
