Latin music is honored every year in the Billboard Award Night recognizing Latin artists for their contribution to the industry. The awards this year took place in Miami, where hundreds of Latin artists congregated to celebrate the music.
Marc Anthony
Marc Anthony was the big winner of the night honor with as the Artist of the Year 2014. This singer was also recognized with the awards:
- «Top Latin Albums« Artist of the Year, Male;
- «Tropical Albums« Artist of the Year, Solo;
- Tropical Song of the Year
- and Digital Song of the Year for «Vivir Mi Vida«
Franco De Vita and Andrea Bocelli were honored the Billboard Hall of Fame Award and ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award respectively. They are part of the list of the winner of the big night in the Billboard Award 2014.
Artist Winner on Instagram
Chino Miranda, from de latin music duo Chino & Nacho, share with his fans the best moment for him during the awards in the social networks. The same did the Italian Group Il Volo who during the night share in instagram photos and videos celebrating the prize.
Telemundo covered the event on TV and shared it through the social network the greatest moments of the Billboards.
Cheo Feliciano in the Billboard
Gilberto Santa Rosa was the artist in charge to announce the tribute during the award for the salsa artist, Cheo Feliciando, who died on a car accident the past April 17th.
Feliciano dedicated his life to the Latin music since he was 17 years old when he started with salsa orchestras in New York. «Anacaona», «Oye como va», Pa’ que afinquen»» and «Salomé» are some of his unforgettable songs.
